The week of your show, GENTLY exfoliate DAILY with a salt or sugar scrub and moisturize 2x DAILY Monday-Thursday with a Cocoa Butter Lotion
Shave your ENTIRE body on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday before the show (Saturday show). Be sure to SHAVE EVERYTHING: legs, back, stomach, butt, chest, arms, shoulders, feet, hands. This applies to EVERYONE – male and female, even if you are blonde!! The tiny hairs on your body will muddy up your tan. Do not wait until the last minute to start shaving, in case you may get razor burn.
Do not get an airbrush or mystic tan within three weeks of your show.
If you choose to WAX, it must be 2 weeks prior to your tanning appointment. Waxing within the 2 weeks leading up to the show could cause the tan to appear “patchy” in those areas which is impossible to cover up. We recommend shaving instead.

Day of Appointment

DO NOT USE lotions, deodorants, perfumes, waist trainers, or adhesive tape (KT TAPE) the day of.
Come to your appointment freshly showered- be sure to scrub ALL products off your body in the shower with a non-moisturizing liquid gel soap Dawn soap.
DO NOT exfoliate skin harshly.
DO NOT exfoliate less than 6 hours prior to your running appointment.
For clients with oily prone skin use Dawn or another liquid detergent before your tan.
Please wash your hair BEFORE your appointment.

Arriving to Your Appointment

Wear LOOSE dark clothing(sleep in it). We recommend 100% cotton. NO bra, underwear, tight seams, zippers, etc. AVOID wearing RED as that may turn the tan GREEN/MUDDY
DO NOT wear your stage suit in the tanning tent. We will provide the appropriate coverings.
We will apply 2 Coats the night before the show. The tan application will take 5-10 min and then 5-10 min to dry. As the tan sets it will darken over the span of 4-6 hours.
DO NOT RINSE or shower until AFTER FINALS.
The Day of show we will apply a top coat. The top coat application will take 5-10 min and then 2 min to dry.

Keep your room extra COOL, the cooler the room the better your tan will be! You will be cold!
DO NOT sleep in the nude, please plan to sleep in your loose, oversized clothing.
If you get wet or make any smudges, DO NOT attempt to fix it. We will fix it for you.
Be careful when going to the bathroom. You may get water spots or lines (which is normal), if this happens, we will fix it for you backstage.
Use old/dark sheets to cover your own or the hotel sheets. Use old/dark towels as well. The tan will rub off and if staying in a hotel, they may charge for it.
